Tourist diversity is increasing in Antalya

Antalya, which hosts mostly German and Russian guests, was visited by 2 million foreign tourists in the first 4 months of the year.

The significant increase in the number of British, Dutch, Polish and Lithuanian tourists compared to the previous year was remarkable. Hakan Saatçioğlu, President of the Professional Hotel Managers Association, said that British and Polish tourists also prefer the city in the winter months.
Antalya, which hosts millions of tourists every year with alternative tourism areas such as cultural, sports, health, congress and wedding in addition to beach tourism, is on the route of holidaymakers from almost every nation. According to the data of the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism of the tourism capital, which has a rich diversity according to the countries of the guests it hosts, approximately 2 million foreign tourists visited the city in the first 4 months of the year. Approximately 531 thousand of these were Germans and 317 thousand were Russians. The top 10 countries that sent the most tourists to the city included England, Poland, Netherlands, Lithuania, Ukraine, Belgium, France and Switzerland. The growth rate in the UK market was 5.68 percent, in Poland 8.87 percent, in the Netherlands 14 percent, in Lithuania 22.77 percent and in Switzerland 5.76 percent.
