The 2025 Ayvalık Triathlon Turkish Cup Final, held in the Ayvalık district of Balıkesir, featured a colorful and exciting event with 500 athletes participating. The races were held on challenging courses, featuring swimming, cycling, and running stages.
Held on the Sarımsaklı coast in Balıkesir's Ayvalık district, the 2025 Ayvalık Triathlon Turkish Cup Final hosted a major event where athletes showcased their endurance, speed, and determination.
Approximately 500 athletes participated in the championship, which featured the Turkish Cup Age Group Point Races, Elite, Youth, Star, M3, and Paratriathlon Turkish Finals. Competing on challenging courses consisting of swimming, cycling, and running, the athletes competed fiercely for two days. Sarımsaklı's natural beauty and extensive coastline added a unique atmosphere to the event, and spectators witnessed vibrant and exciting moments throughout the races. The athletes' high performance and the enthusiastic support of the spectators made the Ayvalık Triathlon an unforgettable event.
At the end of the races, awards were presented to the athletes who won by Triathlon Federation President Bayram Yalçınkaya, Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Adem Özalp and protocol members.
The 2025 Ayvalık Triathlon, which hosted athletes from all over Turkey, revitalized the region's sports tourism.
Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Adem Özalp said, "We are very proud to host this prestigious event in Ayvalık. Triathlon is a special branch in which our athletes demonstrate both their endurance and determination. This championship, held in the unique natural setting of Sarımsaklı, was a valuable achievement for both our athletes and our city."
