Carrying the region's unique cultural heritage to new generations, Red Bull Formulaz will introduce wooden cars to its new track with the event to be held for the 15th time this year in the Tunca town of Rize's Ardeşen district.

Red Bull's traditional wooden car racing event, Formulaz, will be held in Rize on August 24.

According to a statement from the company, Red Bull Formulaz, which carries the region's unique cultural heritage to new generations, will introduce wooden cars to its new track with the event to be held for the 15th time this year in the Tunca town of Rize's Ardeşen district.

The race, which will be held on a challenging 1,000-meter course using only handmade wooden cars, will take place on Sunday, August 24. Competitors will sweat it out to reach the finish line as quickly and creatively as possible on a course filled with sharp turns, obstacles created with sacks, hay bales, ramp jumps, and local surprises.

Mastery and courage will be at the forefront of the race, where each wooden vehicle can only be assembled with nails or screws, and no engine or externally powered mechanism is allowed.

Reflecting Red Bull's spirit of combining fun and functionality, Red Bull Formulaz draws thousands of spectators to the slopes of Tunca every year with its unique format.
