Tekirdağ, which stands out with its blue flag beaches, forests on the slopes of Ganos Mountain and paragliding tracks, hosted more than 4 million local and foreign tourists during the Eid al-Adha holiday.

In the city where green and blue intertwine, holidaymakers enjoyed the Marmara Sea at 22 beaches, 10 of which have blue flags. The beaches in the districts of Şarköy and Süleymanpaşa were especially crowded.

Paragliding activity drew attention in Uçmakdere, one of the favorite routes of adrenaline enthusiasts.

Flights were made throughout the day from the 250 and 600-meter runways on the slopes of Ganos Mountain, depending on the wind conditions. Holidaymakers had the opportunity to watch the unique view where blue and green meet from the sky.

Karaküçük, who stated that more than 4 million tourists were hosted throughout the city during the holiday, said, "Being close to Istanbul makes Tekirdağ attractive. The population of touristic districts increased 10 times during the holiday. Hotels and businesses were completely full."
