The financing agreement for the Antalya-Alanya Highway Project, which will reduce travel time between Turkey 's tourism capital, Antalya, and Alanya, was signed at a ceremony in Ankara. The project, implemented through a Public-Private Partnership model, will receive 87% of the €1.7 billion sustainability-related loan provided by international financial institutions.

A 14-year financing of 1.7 billion euros has been secured by a consortium of 14 banks and financial institutions for the Antalya-Alanya Highway Project, which will significantly reduce traffic congestion between Antalya and Alanya, reducing travel time from approximately 2.5 hours to 36 minutes. The Financing Agreement Signing Ceremony of the Antalya-Alanya Highway Project, which will be implemented with the Public-Private Partnership model, held in Ankara, was attended by Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Presidential Strategy and Budget Head İbrahim Şenel, AK Party Antalya Deputies Atay Uslu, Serap Yazıcı Özbudun and Tuba Vural Çokal, MHP Antalya Deputie Abdurrahman Başkan, Deputy Ministers of Transport and Infrastructure Enver İskurt, Osman Boyraz, and Ömer Fatih Sayan, as well as General Director of Highways Ahmet Gülşen, Ministry of Treasury and Finance Foreign Economic Relations General Manager Kerem Dönmez, Limak Group of Companies Honorary Presidents Nihat Özdemir and Sezai Bacaksız, Chairman of the Board of Directors Ebru Özdemir, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Serhan Bacaksız, Board Members Batuhan Özdemir and Serdar Bacaksız, the Presidential Investment and Finance Office as well as relevant banks, financial institutions, and project managers.

Ebru Özdemir, Chairwoman of the Limak Group of Companies, attended the signing ceremony. She said, "The intense demand, particularly from international banks and financial institutions, during the financing process of the Antalya-Alanya Highway Project has been the most concrete indicator of the trust placed in our country, Limak, and the project. With a sustainability-linked loan structure, 87% of which is provided by internationally funded financial institutions, our project will be implemented in full compliance with international environmental and social standards. Thus, it will become one of Türkiye's leading sustainable infrastructure investments. By significantly reducing travel time, the Antalya-Alanya Highway will contribute significantly to the region's tourism, trade, and employment potential.
