KTourism Connection in Istanbul 2025 was held. The event brought together key stakeholders in the Korean and Turkish tourism sectors.

The event was attended by distinguished guests such as South Korean Consul General Woo Sung Lee, Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) MENA Director Jiman Jung, Asiana Airlines General Manager Gukhee Kim, Turkey Tourism Promotion and Development Agency Corporate Communications Director, International Projects Ozan Ortaç, and representatives from the Istanbul Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The program began with a travel expo, where participants held one-on-one B2B meetings with leading DMCs in Korea and Türkiye, along with Asiana Airlines, and developed new business partnerships and networking opportunities.

Following the expo, guests gathered for dinner in the hotel ballroom. The Korean Consul General and the KTO MENA Director delivered official speeches. A special video presentation showcasing Korea's appeal as a travel destination was shown. AVIAREPS KTO Account Director Aslı Erkan then gave a presentation highlighting Korea's diverse tourism opportunities.

Adding a cultural touch to the evening, Subak captivated the audience with her energetic K-POP dance performance, earning enthusiastic applause from the attendees. The event concluded with an exciting raffle, where various prizes symbolizing Korean culture and innovation were distributed. The winners received traditional souvenirs, modern technology products like the Samsung Galaxy Tab, and the grand prize of a round-trip plane ticket from Istanbul to Korea. The grand prize was presented by Woo Sung Lee, Consul General of the Republic of Korea, and provided by Asiana Airlines.

With overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees, KTourism Connection in Istanbul 2025 successfully strengthened the growing tourism and cultural bridge between Korea and Turkey, paving the way for increased cooperation and travel exchange between the two countries.
