"Protection roof" project for Karahantepe archaeological site - 10.03.2025
Minister Ersoy, in his statement on his social media account, stated that they have signed a major project in Karahantepe, a heritage from thousands of years ago, where silent witnesses of human history and stories engraved on stones are located.
The protective roof was designed to protect the area without damaging the natural texture. The project, which offers an organic harmony with the land with its wavy form, also increases interior comfort with openings that provide natural ventilation.
Designed to preserve the original structure of the excavation site, the modular structure combines aesthetics and functionality by minimizing the number of columns.
The project provides flexibility for growth and adaptation, allowing for expansion for future work. With this project, Karahantepe will be one step closer to carrying its thousands of years of heritage to future generations.
