Boztepe, one of the important centers of tourism in Ordu, hosts many paragliding enthusiasts.

Boztepe, which is approximately 530 meters above sea level in Altınordu district, hosts thousands of local and foreign tourists every year.

Boztepe, which is the observation terrace of the city and can be reached by cable car, also attracts attention from paragliding enthusiasts in Ordu and other provinces.

Adrenaline enthusiasts who go up to Boztepe by cable car enjoy the green and blue at the same time by throwing themselves into the void with their parachutes.

Sports enthusiasts who stay in the air for about half an hour have the opportunity to watch the beauties where blue and green meet from the sky.

Stating that paragliding sport is becoming more popular in Ordu every year, Altınordu Boztepe Paragliding Club President and paragliding pilot Durmuş Şahin said that the number of adrenaline enthusiasts coming here is constantly increasing.

Şahin stated that the pilots who go up to Boztepe in 8 minutes by cable car paraglide with the sea and nature view, and he stated that paragliding sports make serious contributions to Ordu tourism.

Şahin stated that there are citizens who go up to Boztepe just to watch paragliding and said, "Ordu, which cannot get enough of the bird's eye view, has made serious progress in this area. We have pilots who fly alone, and we have double flights with passengers. The number of people who do paragliding has increased considerably with the arrival of summer."

Şahin emphasized that they want to make this sport more popular in Ordu and conveyed that they provide training to young people.

Erdinç Türkyılmaz, who has been a paragliding pilot for 13 years, said, "Our paragliding flights continue intensively. Our airtime is very good. We expect everyone to see the unique beauties of Ordu."

In the meantime, the paragliding excitement of adrenaline enthusiasts was captured by a drone.
