THEY VISITED THE ANTALYA LIBRARY

During the visit, the delegation also inspected various sections of the Antalya Library. The delegation toured the Children's Library, Youth Library, Fine Arts Library, Rare Books Library, Academic Study Hall, and other thematic areas, observing the variety of services firsthand. Kepez Municipality Librarian Chief Oğuzhan Ceylan expressed his satisfaction that the service model implemented at the Antalya Library is being followed nationwide. "We were delighted to receive a visit from the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality delegation to our libraries. With our libraries across Kepez, we are creating dynamic spaces where cultural production and public sharing take place, not just study spaces. Our Mayor, Mr. Mesut Kocagöz, sees libraries not only as places for books, but also as public spaces integrated with culture, knowledge, and life, forming the foundation of our service model," he said.
