Escape Tahtalı Acro and Flight Festival Held in Kemer

The Escape Tahtalı Acro and Flight Festival, held in Antalya's Kemer district, featured paragliding from the summit of 2,365-meter Mount Tahtalı and a banner display to highlight Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The festival, held October 4-6, featured Türkiye's most elite acro paragliders and international athletes.
Paragliders participating in the Escape Tahtalı Acro and Flight Festival held in Antalya's Kemer district jumped from the summit of Tahtalı Mountain, at an altitude of 2,365 meters, and landed on the beach. A banner was unfurled in the sky to highlight Breast Cancer Awareness Month during the festival.
The Escape Tahtalı Acro and Flight Festival, attended by 22 athletes, including two women, some of Turkey 's most distinguished acro paragliding pilots as well as well-known basejumpers and wingsuit athletes, was held from October 4-6. The paragliders, who also included one athlete each from Switzerland and Scotland, jumped from the summit of 2365-meter Tahtalı Mountain and landed on the Tekirova coast. The festival was organized with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Western Mediterranean Development Agency (BAKA); under the auspices of the Antalya Governorship and Kemer District Governorship, with the contributions of the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks, Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports , District Coast Guard Command, Kemer Municipality, Kemer and Region Promotion Foundation (KETAV), Kemer Tourism Businessmen's Association (KEMİAD), and sponsors. On the second day of the festival, a 'Breast Cancer Awareness Month' banner was unveiled in the sky with a paramotor in order to raise awareness about breast cancer within the scope of a project jointly prepared with the District Health Directorate.
