We may differ in language and faith, but music is a language that requires no translation. If a song, melody, or motif touches the soul, evokes joy, and remains etched in memories, it means they are truly national and live in our hearts."Kasimaliyev pointed out that the preservation of cultural heritage has gained importance in the modern world, where cultures and economies of people are increasingly intertwined, and said that the festival reflects the spirit of the times.Mambetaliyev also stated that the festival is a bridge between world cultures and will strengthen unity and solidarity among peoples.Big applause for the Silk Road music groupOn the first day of the festival at Ruh Ordo Cultural Center, participants from various countries introduced traditional musical instruments, played them and sang folk songs.The Silk Road music group, which includes İrfan Gürdal, Kutay Azkur and Şamil Ersöz from Türkiye, also introduced the bağlama, kabak kemane and davul.Gürdal performed the Turkish folk songs "Canım canım" and "Helliyden dağ reed" and the Kyrgyz folk songs "Beauty of the nightingale".Gürdal's singing of a Kyrgyz folk song and his subsequent speech in Kyrgyz were met with intense applause.The first day of the festival ended with the famous Kyrgyz artist Roza Amanova performing her unique interpretation of the folk song "Kyrgyzstanım".Traditional cultures and music will be introducedThe three-day festival, organized under the patronage of President Sadir Japarov, is attended by more than 100 scientists, researchers, musical groups, artists, and officials from international institutions from 37 countries.The festival, organized with the aim of developing Kyrgyzstan's cultural tourism, promoting the richness of world cultural heritage and strengthening global cultural dialogue, will conclude on Sunday with an awards and closing ceremony.
