20.07.2025
Following the 2025 surface asphalt paving season launch, launched by Kepez Mayor Mesut Kocagöz in the Duraliler neighborhood, asphalt paving work is being carried out in a planned manner throughout the district. Streets 5728 and 5729 in the Habibler neighborhood have been resurfaced with asphalt paving.
The Kepez Municipality continues its road renovation work in the district uninterrupted. Teams from the Public Works Department are making roads throughout the district modern and practical with asphalt paving. As part of this project, teams from the Public Works Department resurfaced a 250-meter-long and 9-meter-wide road on Streets 5728 and 5729 in the Habibler neighborhood with asphalt paving. The modernization of the road surface has eliminated problems related to dust and deteriorated ground. Kepez Mayor Mesut Kocagöz said, “Our goal is to provide equal, high-quality, and lasting service to every corner of Kepez. To this end, we are continuing our asphalt paving work in all our neighborhoods without slowing down. We are on the ground to improve the quality of life of our citizens, working in a planned and solution-oriented manner.” Mayor Kocagöz stated that they have taken significant steps in Kepez's transportation infrastructure, saying, “We have renovated the roads using a total of 63,000 tons of asphalt, laying 47 kilometers of hot asphalt. We have also successfully completed 57 kilometers of surface asphalt and 79 kilometers of pavement work, while also paving 27 kilometers of new roads. We have acted on the principle of ‘There can be no superstructure until the infrastructure is complete,’ and we have established close collaboration with public institutions and other investors to this end. As a result, we have provided our district with 29 kilometers of sewer, 111 kilometers of drinking water, 136 kilometers of natural gas, 80 kilometers of electricity, and 91 kilometers of internet infrastructure.”
